Shira Greenberger

Executive Director

Shira Greenberger serves as Executive Director of Kesher Families, bringing decades of experience in education, nonprofit leadership, and communal service to her work supporting individuals and families. She recently earned her Master of Social Work from Touro University, where she received the Dr. Bernard and Sarah Lander Distinguished Social Work Tikkun Olam Award. Shira spent more than twenty years as an educator and has served on the Advisory Board of Amudim for over a decade. She is also a UJA fellow and Nishmat-certified kallah teacher.

Drawing on her professional and clinical training and extensive experience within the Orthodox community, Shira brings a compassionate and nuanced approach to supporting individuals and families through complex and deeply personal circumstances. She is passionate about creating spaces where people feel heard without judgment and believes in the power of thoughtful communication and genuine human connection to strengthen relationships, even in the most challenging moments.
