Kesher Families, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization
EIN 88-0670347

Since Kesher Families launched in March 2022, we have already conducted intakes with over 100 families across the globe, connecting parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, and uncles to the different support services that we offer.
Family sessions have been conducted with Rabbi Penner, Rebbetzin Penner, and Rabbi Chaim Rapoport in person, via Zoom, and over the phone. Since introducing support groups in March, we have run seven groups, each aimed at addressing the specific and diverse concerns of our families. Twice-monthly drop-in groups began in May. All of our group spaces are facilitated by licensed mental health professionals dedicated to assisting those who come together for guidance and comfort.
Kesher Families does not charge for these services in order to ensure that financial barriers do not prevent any family from accessing the support they need. At the same time, the increase in demand coupled with the expansion of our services requires significant funds in order for us to continue our critical work.
One of our generous supporters committed to a 1-1 match for the first $25,000 raised in donations this month, doubling the impact of your gift.
Our $50,000 campaign goal will help underwrite the cost of our individual family sessions.
Please see our newsletter for updates, notes from Rabbi and Rebbetzin Penner, and our executive director Daniela Bronstein, and a glimpse at the impact Kesher Families has had thus far.
